Charity

Being involved in and supporting local communities is an important part of being an international firm.

Our three-tiered approach ensures we support global, local and individual charitable initiatives that align with the regions we operate in, our people and our overall ESG strategy.

We’ve been working with UOcean since 2021.  A pioneering practical and grass-roots non-profit solution working to clean, protect and restore the world's oceans by 2050.  During our partnership to-date we have contributed over 400 hours of volunteer and removed 150 kilos of waste from our waterways in the UK.

Locally our Bristol team is consistently undertaking fundraising challenges and volunteer opportunities for St Peter's Hospice, and our partnership with Hands on Hong Kong has seen us making and delivering soup to elderly residents with the charity Food Grace, supporting Kelly Animals Shelter through a range of tasks and Soap (re)Cycling to disadvantaged communities throughout Asia. Also in Hong Kong we are partnered with Time Auction enabling individuals to volunteer skills (both legal and non-legal) for NGOs and redeem different experiences with their volunteer hours.

In London our teams work with a number of charities aligned with our DEIB Communities such as SeeAbility, Sickle Cell Society, R;ipple and Hope in Haringey. We provide support in a number of different ways, through financial contribution, volunteering or mentoring as part of our broader social mobility outreach programmes.

Our team also volunteers and provides meeting space for Hestia specially supporting people in London and the south east who are victims of modern slavery.

We are also committed to supporting our people's charitable activity and, as such, every member of the firm is allowed to take one volunteering day each year, dedicating that time to a community cause of their choice.

"Working with a global charity partner brings us together as one team underpinning our culture beyond charitable endeavour alone. Whether beach cleaning in Singapore or litter picking along the Thames our people connect and build friendships that are vital to who we are."
