“I love what I do and find the wide variety of areas that my work covers extremely rewarding. Each case is different. After 24 years in the job, I am still learning new things, which keeps it fresh. I care deeply about the cases I deal with, and think this is reflected in my work.

I think clients appreciate the relationship I build with them. They know they will get a good service from me and I think they recognise my expertise, drive, and passion to ensure they get the best result possible.

I will always pick up the phone wherever possible as I think this is the best way of establishing and building a client relationship. I also take the opportunity to get in front of clients whenever possible.”

Fiona’s recent work highlights:

Claim with four defendants and a paralysed Claimant. I drove this to an early settlement of liability, which in turn led to me acting for all four defendants and their insurer clients to settlement of the claim. 

Acted for a structural engineer prosecuted for health and safety offences following a fatality on a construction site. Client initially under suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter. Subsequently charged with lesser H&S offences.  

Acting for insurers in respect of multi-million-pound child brain injury case.
