Matt is a Partner at RPC and works extensively with our insurer clients. He specialises in dealing with claims against directors and officers, and provides coverage advice to insurers in relation to D&O and management liability risks. Matt also advises on claims against financial professionals, and has extensive experience dealing with regulatory matters before the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and the Financial Ombudsman Service.

“My key area is insurance. When providing coverage advice and monitoring services for insurers, many of the claims have an international element. I also enjoy the wide range of issues that arise from management liability policies.

I provide clients with pragmatic and commercial advice that seeks to resolve claims. To help clients deal with often complex issues, I often draw upon my experience as a secondee in the claims team at one of the leading Insurers. This enables me to take a straightforward approach to dealing with disputes and coverage issues.
